My thoughts are scarcely my own, and I run into words that do not know me, but the beauty in finding who you are is that you get to play dress up with all the things you want to be.

This part of the site is supposed to be about me and honestly, I hate when I have to give just a few facts about me to make myself interesting, which is kind of why I write; to dig into the abstract and disturbing parts of my mind and make it into art, and maybe (hopefully) something you can relate to, and take with you as a new piece of yourself.

But for sure, here you'll see my writing, book reviews + updates, writing advice, and books that inspired me the most.
BOOKS THAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE
-
Salt to the sea - Ruta Sepetys

-
The Sun and Her Flowers- Rupi Kaur

-
Rebecca- Daphne du Maurier

-
Lord of the Flies- William Golding

-
You- Caroline Kepnes
I think every writer has a book or books in where they see themselves in the writing and in the characters. Before writing, it was hard for me to express myself in clear words (especially verbally). These books gave me the right words, I felt understood, which is why, I suppose we all read; to be understood, and to know that in the most personal ways we are known by those we've never even spoken to. But reading is an intimate thing, and in the pages we turn, we learn to unravel ourselves.
